Danielle Marie Fusco

Danielle Marie Fusco is a professional dancer, choreographer, and aerialist as well as a New York State teaching artist. Her extensive theater and dance experience includes her choreographing of The Anthem: A Radical New Musical at the Lynn Redgrave Theatre, Tink! The Musical at the 2016 New York Musical Festival, The Vanity at Theatre Row, and AWOL presented at the Martha Graham Choreographic Showcase. In addition, she has choreographed and performed principle roles in Symphony of Shadows, Tragedy of Maria Macabre, and GoGo Killers! Her creative work has also taken her both nationally and internationally with tours in the United Kingdom, France, Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, Germany, Mexico, Italy, Sweden and Denmark.

 

Ms. Fusco’s education and training background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Marymount Manhattan College, a Certificate of Teaching from the Martha Graham School, where she received an atelier scholarship. She has also received training with PUSH Physical Theatre, the Luigi Jazz Center, and Long Island High School for the Arts. As a NYS teaching artist, Ms. Fusco has worked with The Martha Graham Company and Rioult, NY, schools as well as the New York City Department of Education and Eastern Suffolk BOCES. In addition, she has been a guest educator at Sceneindgangen (Copenhagen), New York University Gallatin, Nazareth College, Peridance Capezio Center, Talent Unlimited High School, St. Joseph’s School for the Deaf, and Flushing Town Hall. She has also led private dance conservatories in the tri-state area.
