  C3 SQUARED

Susan Neale

(C3)2 Web Content Manager

Susan Neale manages the (C3)2 project’s web site, working with the (C3)2 partners to share the fabulous arts integration units, activities and information being generated by this project. She brings to the position a background in education, technology, and print and web publishing.

For the past 14 years, she has been the co-editor of The Star, a monthly arts education newsletter published by Eastern Suffolk BOCES Arts in Education. The newsletter reports local, state and national arts-in-education news for K-12 educators and administrators as well as other arts advocates.

Since 2001, she has worked with Nassau County BOCES Videoconference Service, where she facilitates the use of educational videoconferencing to enrich K-12 curriculum in 15 school districts. As an advocate for educational videoconferencing, Ms. Neale trains educators in the latest videoconference technology and best practices. Each year, she and her colleagues support over 900 virtual real-time connections between Nassau County schools and distant schools, experts and institutions, including many art museums and performing arts centers, across the country and around the world. She also manages the content for the Videoconference Service’s website.

Her past print publishing experience includes being a writer, news editor and managing editor on health, science and business magazines.
